I've been making the Zuni for many years. It was the first women's style that I created, and it's been running ever since. Nicole calls it my "signora bag", which means that it's got the classically elegant thing going.
This one is made from a very interesting skin. It's horse skin from a small tannery in Mercedes, Argentina. My cousin and his family live near the tannery and brought me there to check it out when I was there a couple of years ago. It is literally an old Victorian tannery in the middle of field. When we arrived there were workers sitting under an oak tree having lunch.
There are a few interesting things about this skin. The fur is bright red, but the skin itself has a silver cast to it, so there's a metallic element as well. I've never seen anything like it.
Dimensions are 11 height, 12" width at top, 15" at bottom, and 3 1/2" depth.
Zip top with metallic leather tassel. The lining is a vintage kimono silk with a zipper pocket and a patch pocket for your phone.
I'm going to say- this is the most unique bag you'll find. There will be no others like it. Ever.
