Part of my Automatic collection, this style is my new travel bag. Still in an 80's frame of mind, I wanted to bring the color blocking and neurosis of that time while using the most incredible skins that I can find.
This is made from a mix of skins. The bag is made in a kiwi green color horse skin that I brought back from an Argentine tannery a few blocks from my cousin's house. This is an incredible skin that has amazing sheen. I've joined the panels with strips of veg tan saddle leather, and then used the saddle for the zipper panels. The straps are made from a thick saddle leather that will age beautifully over time.
